Viva la Fiesta! Fiesta Friday is a holiday in Santa Barbara. Check out the @oldspanishdays Historical Parade (El Desfile Histórico) one of the largest equestrian parades in the country, “the Fiesta Historical Parade is unique to Santa Barbara and features floats depicting episodes from the history of the state and city including descendants of local Native Americans and Spanish Pioneers.”

🌊🏊🏻Reef and Run! Swimmers are a little weird. It’s mostly swimming with very little running. :) @redfish.band music credit! Great way to swim with lifeguards on surf boards and a great finish line! Thursday evenings this summer in Santa Barbara. 7th year for me. Huge thank you for helping me learn how to ocean swim! Still learning. #sbtriathlon

THIS WEEK AT REEF & RUN

“Choose from three ocean swim distances — 500 meters / 1 kilometer / 1 mile — and then kick back and enjoy Reef & Run’s post-race party featuring food provided by Buena Onda Restaurant, hot cocoa prepared by Chad’s, hard cider from Anna’s Cider, beer from Rincon Brewery, and entertainment from musical guest Redfish.”

**Registration Begins at 5:30 p.m.
**Races Begin at 6:30 p.m.
**Food, Drink, & Live Music at 7 p.m.
The Reef and Run season begins on Thursday, June 6th and totals 11 weeks. The last races of the season are August 22nd. The Boat to Beach race, for which participants must qualify, will be held on August 29th.

Walk-up entry fees for each individual event during the season will be $20 per night.
